BSNL offers free ADSL Wi-Fi modem with annual payment of broadband connection

BSNL has launched a new promotional scheme as a part of which it is offering a free ADSL Wi-Fi modem at a reduced rate of Rs. 500 for free of cost based on the broadband plan for new subscribers that are opting for the annual payment option.

Under this offer, all new BSNL broadband subscribers who are opting for the annual payment option with broadband plan of fixed monthly charges of Rs. 500 and above will be provided with an ADSL Wi-Fi modem at reduced sale price of Rs. 500. New subscribers who are opting for an annual payment option for broadband plans with fixed monthly charges above Rs. 1000 will be given an ADSL Wi-Fi modem for free of cost.

However, if the customer surrenders the broadband connection before the expiry of committed period, Rs. 1000 will be charged for customers received modem at reduced price and Rs. 1,500 for customers who received the modem free of charges. BSNL said that the promotional scheme is introduced to increase the broadband customer base, and is only available for new broadband customers. The promotional scheme is introduced at all circles for a period of 90 days with effective from 25-12-2015.
