Good News for BSNL Prepaid Customers as Telco Extends 2.2GB Extra Data Offer Till October 2019

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) consumer-centric plans and actions have made the telecom operator popular amongst the public and its subscribers in the last few months. The government led telecom operator is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to providing new offers, tariffs and freebies to the customers so that they can stick with the telecom operator. Very recently, we saw the state-led telco revise its broadband plans for good, but there was also one offer which was BSNL providing, and it was very popular amongst its users – and the offer that we are talking about is the extra data offer of 2.21GB. In its latest move, BSNL has announced that it will be extending its popular offer of providing 2.2GB of data till October. Here are all the details on this offer.




BSNL Extra Data Offer Extension Details

As per the new information released by BSNL, the promotional offer which was rolled out by the telecom operator for luring in subscribers has worked like a charm, and the subscribers have been loving the free data which they are getting on their numbers. Seeing the consumer demand, the telco has already extended this offer for a couple of times. But, this time around BSNL has noted that the extension will be valid from July 4, 2019, to October 1, 2019. BSNL has also listed that currently this extension will be limited to Chennai circle of BSNL.

Prepaid Vouchers Available Under Extra Data Offer

With the information about the extension of the promotional offer, BSNL has also noted the list of prepaid vouchers and STVs on which the promotional offer of additional data would be available. In its list of prepaid vouchers, BSNL will be shipping 3.2GB daily data to the users instead of 1GB daily on Rs 186, and Rs 429 plan. Instead of 1.5GB data, the telco will offer 3.7GB data on its Rs 485 and Rs 666 plan, and lastly, instead of 2GB data per day, the telco will provide 4.2GB data per day to its users under the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan.

STVs Eligible Under Extra Data Offer

Under its list of STVs also, the telco has mentioned 4 plans which will enjoy the benefits of the promotional offer, thus shipping 2.2GB additional data to the consumers each day. The STVs priced at Rs 187, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 447 each offering 1GB data per day would now be offering 3.2GB data per day.

BSNL Introduces New Broadband Plans Under Bharat Fiber

Very recently, BSNL has also announced the launch of a bunch of new Bharat Fiber broadband plans to give a tough fight to Reliance Jio GigaFiber. The plans start with the affordable price tag of Rs 349 and they come at various speed options like 8 Mbps, 10 Mbps, 25 Mbps, 50 Mbps, 75 Mbps and even 100 Mbps as well. There are options with daily or monthly data with new BSNL broadband plans and a lot of these plans also ship Amazon Prime and Hotstar subscriptions.
