BSNL announces new broadband plans offering 16Mbps upto 50GB at Rs. 1499 with post FUP speed of 1Mbps

Today, BSNL has announced new Unlimited Broadband plans – 2Mbps to 24Mbps download speeds – operated on ADSL/VDSL technologies at the lowest tariff charges, but only for the Faridabad area in the state of Haryana.

With a plan to grab the market with the best internet facility, BSNL has now launched new high-speed standalone Unlimited Broadband plans – BBG ULD 599 CS76, BBG ULD 799 CS77, BBG Speed ULD 991 CS78 – on ADSL technology. It has also launched two new plans operated on VDSL technology – BBG Super Speed ULD 1499 VDSL CS79 and BBG Super Speed ULD 2499 VDSL CS80 – for internet users in Faridabad Area (BSNL Faridabad SSA of Haryana). These plans are being offered at lowest charges with highest FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit upto 50GB, which were never offered in the broadband market.

BSNL telephone monthly rental charges will be added as extra as per the subscribed Landline Plan. Free unlimited night calling to any network mobile and landline in India (between 9PM to 7AM) will be allowed without voice breaks.

Why can’t they launch a plan within Rs 1,000 with 1 mbps post FUP speed and pre FUP limit 0MB.
Yes I am talking about true unlimited plan with no variable speed (pre post FUP). I hope if they can give 16Mbps till 50GB, they can give without 50GB with 16Mbps and price below 1,000.
Further they must do away with free calls. Only broadband connection with calls as addon facility must be there.

In fact it’s just the opposite! Spectranet, Nextra all are here only for namesake. They have coverage in only a few posh communities. What about the other people living in independent houses? Only BSNL and Tikona have coverage almost everywhere. Even Airtel’s reach is lesser.
