Infrastructure provider Edged Data Centers has officially opened its state-of-the-art data center in Irving, Texas. Located at 505 North Wildwood Drive in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, the facility offers 24MW of capacity tailored to high-density AI workloads and is optimised for energy and water efficiency.

Cooling Technology by ThermalWorks
The facility is fitted with a waterless cooling system, provided by Edge's sister company ThermalWorks, which significantly reduces environmental impact by consuming zero water and cutting energy overhead by 74 percent compared to traditional data centers.
According to the official release, the cooling system is expected to save nearly 95 million gallons of water annually compared to conventional data centers.
"The modular system supports ultra-high densities of up to 200 kW per rack with plug-and-play liquid cooling integration while delivering industry-leading energy efficiency (average Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.15 portfolio-wide)," the company said on January 16, 2025.

Edged's Data Center Network
Edged's new facility was celebrated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials, including the mayor and key economic development officials.
Edged Dallas joins a network of facilities currently under construction or operational across the US, including locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Columbus and Phoenix.
Edged is a subsidiary of Endeavour, with nearly a dozen new data centers operating or under construction across Europe and North America, along with a gigawatt-scale project pipeline.
