Sabey Data Centers Completes First Building at Round Rock Texas Campus
Sabey Data Centers has completed the first building of its new 430,000-square-foot data center campus in Round Rock, Texas. Sabey says that the facility, designed for scalability, offers up to 84 megawatts (MW) of power capacity and supports high-density computing, including liquid cooling systems with capabilities of up to 200 kW per cabinet.

State-of-the-Art Infrastructure

"SDC Austin is designed to maximise available data center space while maintaining a minimal construction footprint, enhancing scalability for deployment of all sizes," Sabey said on Thursday.

According to Sabey, the campus has already attracted two large liquid cooling deployments, including one by the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC). TACC will house Horizon, the largest academic supercomputer dedicated to open scientific research in the National Science Foundation's portfolio, at Sabey's new campus.

Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

"This investment in the Austin market provides enterprises and hyperscalers with sustainable, secure and highly connected capacity to scale their digital operations," said Rob Rockwood, President of Sabey Data Centers.

"We are very pleased to announce the expansion of the SDC portfolio with the completion of the first building on our Austin data center campus," said Jeffrey Kanne, President and CEO of National Real Estate Advisors and Vice Chairman of Sabey Data Centers.

Located in a Technology Hub

The SDC Austin data center campus is located in the technology hub of the South, making it an ideal choice for businesses seeking a reliable and secure environment, the company said. The Austin facility prioritises energy efficiency and is part of Sabey's commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2029.

According to the official release, Sabey Data Centers is one of the largest privately-owned multi-tenant data center owners, developers, and operators in the United States.

The company is a joint venture between Sabey Corporation and National Real Estate Advisors, with the latter acting as the investment manager on behalf of its institutional clients. Sabey provides data center services to leading financial, technology, and healthcare companies.
