Eutelsat to Integrate LEO Network into Inmarsat’s Maritime Connectivity Service
Eutelsat Group has announced that Inmarsat Maritime, part of Viasat, will integrate Eutelsat's OneWeb low Earth orbit (LEO) network into its NexusWave connectivity solution. This collaboration aims to enhance high-speed, low-latency broadband services for ships, ensuring reliable connectivity even in the most remote locations.

Maritime Connectivity

The addition of Eutelsat's OneWeb LEO connectivity to Inmarsat's maritime network addresses the evolving needs of the maritime industry and ensures that every vessel has access to reliable, high-performance broadband, regardless of how remote its location is, the companies said in a joint statement on Wednesday.
