Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL), India's third-largest telecom operator, recently added a new Rs 26 data voucher for customers. This data voucher is the exact replica of what Airtel is offering its customers. Bharti Airtel recently introduced the same price voucher and it comes with the same benefits. Vodafone Idea has done this plenty of times before (copying the tariff structure of Bharti Airtel). Thus this is not surprising at all that Vi has introduced this data voucher to compete with Airtel. Vodafone Idea Rs 26 Prepaid Plan - Data Voucher
The Rs 26 data voucher from Vi doesn't carry active service validity. This is because it is a data voucher and not an active service validity prepaid plan. With this plan, users get 1.5GB of data, and the validity of this data is just till the end of the same day.
If you want slightly less data, i.e., 1GB, then you can recharge with the Rs 22 plan. This plan also doesn't carry service validity.

Now want to know what you get with the Airtel's Rs 26 plan. It is the same that Vi is offering. Both Airtel and Vi are offering this plan now and it will be added to your base plan as a data boost. If you don't have a base plan, don't bother recharging with these data vouchers as they won't work. Also, with both Airtel and Vi, the Rs 26 data voucher will expire on the same day (at 11:59 PM). So any unused data will not be available at 12 AM.
