Tarana's wireless solution allows UScellular to boost network capacity and deliver faster broadband speeds, even in areas with challenging terrain that typically obstructs line-of-sight connections. Three UScellular towers in West Plains are already equipped with Tarana's ngFWA technology, offering high-speed internet without data caps.
ngFWA Platform
Headquartered in Milpitas, California, Tarana has developed next-generation fixed wireless access (ngFWA) technology and serves over 200 service providers in 21 countries. The company says it has invested more than USD 400 million in R&D for developing its ngFWA technology solution.
"We know that many West Plains residents have limited internet options, and working with Tarana allows us to affordably and efficiently increase the data capacity on our network to enhance our Home and Business Internet offering for customers," said UScellular. "We look forward to more people experiencing the benefits and cost savings of having their wireless provider as their internet provider."

Simple Setup
UScellular explained that this new offering requires only a simple and quick professional installation of a small antenna outside a customer's home or business.
Tarana added, "Not only does ngFWA allow UScellular to optimise their networks and serve more customers — it also brings improved performance to every customer. In West Plains and other rural communities, these advances will make a critical difference."
