However, according to NorthC's LinkedIn update, the company said it has acquired data centre facilities in Winterthur, currently owned by Kyndryl Switzerland, an IT infrastructure services provider and part of the Kyndryl Group.

Kyndryl Switzerland as First Customer

Kyndryl Switzerland has already signed a Managed Service Agreement to avail colocation services at the Winterthur data centre, becoming NorthC's first customer at this location. NorthC said it will also make the data centre facilities in Winterthur available to other organizations in the region.

Winterthur Data Centre's Crucial Role

The NorthC Group has announced that this will be the 17th NorthC data centre and is an important move towards growth in the area. Similar to their other data centres in the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, NorthC plans to create a network of regional IT partners in the Zurich area to support local businesses in their digital transformation.

The company's key values, including a focus on sustainability and prioritizing strong and personalized customer relationships, will also be brought to the new data centre.
