Realme Band 2

Realme forayed into the wearable market last year with the launch of the Realme Band, its fitness band. Following the same, the company launched its sequel dubbed Realme Band 2. Following its announcement in Malaysia last week, the company has launched its latest fitness tracker in India today. The Realme Band 2 has been launched for Rs 2,999 and will be available for purchase from September 27 at 12 PM via the official Realme store, Flipkart and retail partners across the country.

Realme Band 2 Specifications

Being the sequel to the yesteryear model, the Realme Band 2 is completely different from its predecessor. The wearable device looks like a smartwatch rather than a fitness band. It appears to have a design that reminds us of the Huawei Band 6 and Honor Band 6. It bestows a 1.4-inch LCD display with a brightness of 500 nits and a resolution of 167 x 320 pixels. It is a touch screen panel with a capacitive button at its bottom bezel.

Launched in a single color option - Space Grey, the Realme Band 2 features 50m water resistance. Users can change the strap color as per their choice with any 18mm interchangeable wrist strap. The fitness band features a 3-axis accelerometer, a SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen levels, and an optical heart rate sensor. Also, there is support for 90 sports modes with more coming in the form of future OTA updates. There are sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring and menstrual cycle monitoring.

The other notable aspects of the Realme Band 2 include sedentary reminders, music playback control, breathing exercises, alarm, app notifications, camera shutter, reminder, call alerts, and more. Furthermore, users can control select Realme AIoT products with this wearable device via the Realme Link app. The connectivity options on the Realme fitness access include Bluetooth 5.1 and it is compatible with Android devices running Android 5.1 and above and iPhones and iPads running iOS 11 and above. A 204mAh battery powers the Realme Band 2 from within and it is touted to deliver up to 12 days of battery life.
