Sony has launched a new TV in India - the Sony Bravia XR Master Series 85Z9J priced at a whopping Rs 12,99,990. This large-screen LED TV comes with a resolution of 7680 x 4320 and runs Android TV OS. This TV is touted to adapt to the viewing experience of its surroundings to give the most impressive user experience. This is the most expensive offering in the portfolio of Sony in India. The TV is up for sale via Sony retail stores, major electronics stores, the Sony online store, and select online retailers, adds IANS.




Sony Bravia XR Master Series 85Z9J Specs

The Sony Bravia XR Master Series 85Z9J TV comes with 8K resolution and supports next-generation content. While there is no 8K content in the mainstream, it touts this TV to be future-ready. It will compete against the 8K offerings from LG, Samsung, and Hisense. In terms of specs, the Sony Bravia XR Master Series 85Z9J is equipped with Dolby Vision, HDR formats, the smart Google TV interface with support for Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast.

The display has support for local dimming and a refresh rate of 120 Hz at UHD resolution. It is noted that the new 8K LED TV from Sony offers brilliant picture quality with much more details and exceptional clarity. With this large screen TV, you can get a cinematic experience with IMAX Enhanced and it can deliver brighter highlights, deeper blacks with a wider and more precise range of colors, thanks to the Full-Array LED panel, XR Contrast Booster 15, and XR TRILUMINOS Pro.

Under its hood, the Sony Bravia XR Master Series 85Z9J is powered by the company’s XR Cognitive processor seen on other TVs from Sony this year for an optimised viewing experience as mentioned above. It thinks just like a human brain and offers an immersive experience that thrills and moves viewers and makes them feel just like the world around them, it added. The company claims that the new TV can deliver an audio output of 85W with its ten-speaker setup comprising two mid-range drivers, four sub-woofers and four tweeters. It is supported by Dolby Atmos Audio and 16GB of internal storage space to store apps and app data.
