It is now out in the open that Vodafone Idea is working with intensity towards massive infrastructure deployment to increase coverage, capacity and quality of its network. Now it is also very well known that Idea remains one of the best networks in some of the cities and not to mention that it also provides best upload speeds to the users. Now in a new development, it has surfaced that Idea has bagged the number one position in Indore for being the fastest network as tested by Ookla. The agency, which is the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications came up with 4G data speed tests done across the region which revealed that Idea 4G is the fastest network in Indore, Dewas, Hoshangabad, Durg, and Bhilai.
Idea Becomes Fastest in Dewas, Hoshangabad, Durg & Bhilai too
Ookla’s speed test revealed that amongst all the operators in Indore, Dewas, Hoshangabad, Durg & Bhilai, Idea’s network was the fastest. Idea, in its press release, has written that now with the help of Idea’s fast network, the consumers will be able to make group video calls, binge on series or movies and share photos or videos and everything they love doing at the fastest speed.
Talking about achieving this new feat in the Indore region, Mr Vishant Vora, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Idea Ltd. said, “We are deploying new-age technologies to enhance customer experience as we build a robust, future-ready network in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Vodafone Idea Embarks on Network Modernisation Exercise
It is notable that Vodafone Idea Ltd. is on a major network modernisation exercise to ensure that customers get a seamless data experience and connectivity in both rural and urban locations of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. The company offers 4G, 3G and 2G services through a large spectrum portfolio of 61 MHz utilised across 12,106 sites. Post network integration, Idea coverage is available across 664 Towns and 53,130 villages in the Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circle covering 260800 sq. Km area.

As part of its network modernisation exercise across India, the telecom operator has also laid some emphasis on urban cities. In the Delhi-NCR region too, the telecom operator has deployed small cells, TDDs and more to increase the coverage and capacity.
