Newcomer Reliance Jio Infocomm continues to give fierce competition to older players Airtel, Idea and Vodafone. To cope up with the new entrant, companies are always revamping their existing plans to give users incentives to stick around. Lately, the trend has caught to revise postpaid plans too and here are some of the best postpaid plans under Rs 1000.
Airtel Infinity Rs 799 Plan
Airtel’s revamped Rs 799 postpaid plan now comes with 60GB of data along with unlimited calling for local, STD and national roaming. There is no daily cap on data usage, unlike prepaid plans. The plan also gives you option of carrying forward the remaining data to next month, which is though capped at a maximum limit of 200GB.
Also bundled with the plan is free access to Wynk Music, Airtel TV along with a one-year subscription to Amazon Prime services. Additionally, the plan provides the user with handset damage protection.
Reliance Jio Rs 509 Plan
Jio still provides more data in comparison to others. The Jio Rs 509 postpaid plan offers 60GB of 4G data with FUP limit of 2GB per day. There is unlimited voice calling for both local and STD including incoming/outgoing in roaming. Besides the plan brings unlimited free SMSes.
Jio offers unlimited access to its Jio apps which include Jio Music, Jio Movies, JioTV and number of other services. There’s a catch though as Jio’s postpaid services require Rs 600 security deposit for this plan.
Reliance Jio Rs 799 Plan
A more expensive plan from Jio Rs 799 is specifically aimed at those with higher data requirements. It comes with 90GB of high-speed data with a daily cap of 3GB. As usual, there’s unlimited voice calling and unlimited SMS facility along with access to a plethora of other premium apps. Users are required to submit Rs 950 as a security deposit in order to activate the plan.
Vodafone RED Rs 999 Plan
Vodafone has a Rs 999 plan, which is similar to Airtel’s Rs 1199 postpaid plan. It comes with 75GB of internet data per month along with carry forward option to a maximum of 200GB. Apart from that, you get unlimited voice calling with roaming and 100 SMS per day.
To compete with others, Vodafone includes a one-year subscription to their Vodafone Play app, which gives access to television shows and movies. In addition, there is also a free Magzter subscription with five free magazines every month. And users will also receive free Netflix subscription with this plan.
BSNL Rs 799 Plan
State-owned telecom operator, BSNL too has rolled out a revamped postpaid plan to compete with others. The company has released Rs 799 postpaid plan aimed at those seeking free calling and data benefits. The plan comes with 60GB of bundled internet data without any daily cap along with free voice calling (local/STD/roaming).
Unfortunately, BSNL’s 4G services are limited to select few regions at the moment, meaning users will be relying on 3G speeds. Also, BSNL doesn’t provide any additional benefits such as access to music, movie services.
