While the entire world is celebrating the day of love, Reliance Jio, on the other hand, is waging a war against the incumbent telecom operators in the country. But, this time around, it’s a war of words — a rather sweet war, if we must add.

Reliance Jio, earlier this morning sent out the Valentine Day wishes to its rivals in the country via a tweet. The telcos exact tweet read “Dear @airtelindia, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular, Happy Valentine’s Day. #WithLoveFromJio.”

And ever since Jio had tweeted the post, Twitter, for being the crazy place it is, has gone berserk. And for obvious reasons, there were many funny tweets that followed.

However, the best one came from Airtel's twitter handle. In response to Jio’s tweet, Bharti Airtel tweeted back that “Same feels @reliancejio! After all #HarEkFriendZarooriHotaHai, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular.”

Touché Airtel. Touché!

Idea Cellular has also replied to Jio’s tweet saying that “@reliancejio Same to you! Nice to know that love is in the air today. @airtelindia @VodafoneIN.”

Vodafone India is yet to reply the tweet, though.

This is not the first time for Reliance Jio to take a dig at its rivals. Recently, in a response to Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet regarding some issues with the Vodafone SMS services, Jio offered Mr. Bachchan a free Jio SIM home delivery.

All the fun part aside, Currently, Jio is in a serious war with the country’s top telcos over the points of interconnection (PoI). Bharti Airtel had recently filed a complaint against Jio accusing it of “predatory pricing and anti-competitive behavior” with CCI.
