HTC's premium smartphone, the HTC 10 made its way to India in May, this year. It was launched at a whopping price of Rs. 52,990, but maybe due to low sales volume, HTC has now slashed its pricing by Rs. 5000. The HTC 10 will now be up for sale at a reduced pricing of Rs. 47,990. Interestingly, HTC recently announced Nougat update for the HTC 10, which is expected to roll out by the end of this year in Q4 2016.

HTC 10 flagship

To recap, the HTC 10 comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage (32GB variant will also be available) and a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. Also, the internal storage will be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card for both the storage variants.

The HTC 10 sports a 12-Ultrapixel primary camera equipped with Laser autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.8 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard with f/1.8 aperture and OIS (one of its kind front camera to be equipped with OIS). The device comes crafted in a metal body, which gives it a premium look. It features a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the Home Button. Backing the HTC 10 is a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Like other HTC flagships, this one too features BoomSound speakers along with 24-bit hi-res DAC audio chip for enhanced audio output.

Considering the downfall of the Galaxy Note7, HTC might reap benefits from the price cut on its flagship. Going by the specs and features, the HTC 10 looks like a good smartphone.
