Intex launches Aqua Twist smartphone with 5MP rotating camera lens, priced at Rs. 5,199, to take on iBall Andi Avonte 5

Intex has launched yet another affordable smartphone in the Aqua series, named as Intex Aqua Twist. The device is priced at Rs. 5,199 and has got listed on Intex's official website. It is expected to go on sale sometime soon.

One of the prominent features of the Intex Aqua Twist is its 5-megapixel rotating camera, a feature that appeared on many mid-range smartphones such as the Oppo N3 and iBall Andi Avonte 5, last year. The 8-megapixel swivel camera lens can be used for taking rear and front snapshots.

The Intex Aqua Twist is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It comes with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 chipset clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It bears 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G (HSPA+), Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. The device measures 144x72x8.4mm and weighs 175 grams. Backing the Intex Aqua Twist is a 2200mAh of battery, which is touted by the company to deliver up to 275 hours of standby time and up to 18 hours of talk-time.

The smartphone comes bundled up with a variety of pre-loaded apps such as Matrabhasha, Newshunt, Follo, Opera Mini, Saavn, OLX, Amazon, Goibibo, Hike Messenger, and Freecharge. It will be available in Black and White colour options.
