LG Watch Urbane with built-in Wi-Fi to be unveiled in India for Rs. 35,000

LG’s stylish Android Wear, the Watch Urbane that was announced in February this year, is gearing up for the launch in India. It will be retailing in India for a price of Rs.35,000. Although LG has not made any official announcement yet. As per the report by NDTV Gadgets, only Wi-Fi version will be launched in India, which means that we will be missing out on the LTE version.

As a flashback of its specifications, the LG Watch Urbane features a 1.3-inch round Plastic OLED display with 320x320 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, paired with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of internal storage on-board and it is backed by a 410 mAh battery.

The smartwatch is crafted in stainless steel body with a leather strap and it will be available in Silver, and Rose Gold colors. There are many exclusive features present in the device, such as, Photoplethysmogram sensor (which tracks user’s heartbeat), accelerometer/compass, and a barometer. The watch has IP67 certification, which makes it water and dust resistant. It has a stainless steel body and also a leather strap.

As you can make out of the headline that the device has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, so that is another cool feature on it. Interestingly, the LG Watch Urbane has received an Android Wear update recently.
