Leading Indian handset brand Lava International Ltd is all set to launch country's first Android 4.2 Jelly Bean tablet by next month. The company did not reveal the model name or the price, but mentioned that the price will be very affordable at below Rs 10,000.
The upcoming Lava tablet running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean will sport dual core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, upto 32GB microSD support, 2MP rear camera, front facing VGA camer for video chat, HDMI port and 3700 mAh battery. It will not support cellular network, but WiFi will be there for connectivity.
As the company claims its earlier Etab Xtron got huge success, and this new tablet will continue that success. Lava has been very aggressive to tap the India's handset and tablet market against other Indian players like Micromax and Karbonn. Currently Lava brings new products on each and every week as 'Blockbuster Friday'.
