Gionee Intros Quad Core, Jelly Bean packed 5.3″ GPad G2

Gionee, latest entrant in the Indian handset industry is on a launching spree- within 75 days in this country they have launched their 10th product. Unlike the earlier products – smartphones and mobile phones, the 10th product is a 5.3″ Tablet-PC running Android operating system (4.1 Jelly Bean) – GPad G2.

The tablet G2 will be availble across the country from the first week of May. Though price is not revealed, it will be affordable.

GPad G2 comes with 5.3″ qHD true color display, MediaTek 1.2GHz quad core processor, 4GB ROM, 8 MP camera with auto focus & LED flash, 720p video recording, 2MP front camera, 9.9 mm slim, dual sim, 3G+2G, wifi, bluetooth, gps, 3000 mAh battery and Digital Theatre System ( DTS) sound.

There is no mention of GPU & RAM but expected that it has PowerVX GPU or Mali GPU and 512MB RAM.

Available in white and grey colors, Gionee packs stylish navigation flip leather case and screenguard with the package.

512 MB ram for Quad core processor ?

is this of any use? i don’t what will be the cost hike for 1GB Ram ?
