Zopo Mobile, a China-based smartphone manufacturer had announced the Speed X as the company’s first dual camera phone in India last month. With the tagline “Light up your selfie”, the Zopo Speed X is now available for purchase across the country for Rs. 9,499 exclusively on e-commerce platforms.

The handset is also available in four colour options – Charcoal Black, Orchid Gold, Royal Gold, and Space Grey. For a budget smartphone, the Zopo Speed X comes with some very interesting specs, its optics being the most highlighted feature.
The Zopo Speed X boasts of a combination of a 13MP and a 2MP sensor on the rear of the device. The dual camera setup is positioned horizontally accompanied by a LED flash. On the front is a 13MP camera that comes with Face Beauty Mode, Fixed Focus, f/2.0 aperture, and a soft LED front flash for capturing selfies in low-light conditions. The company claims that the soft light LED flash is designed to imitate a professionally set lighting effect.
Yet another highlight of the Zopo Speed X is the fingerprint sensor, which is surprisingly square-shaped as opposed to the oval shaped biometric sensors we see in most coming-of-age smartphones. The company claims that it is the world’s fastest fingerprint scanner with a response time of just 0.16 seconds and a 360-degree unique touch recognition system to identify the fingerprint from any angle.
Coming to the key specs, the Zopo Speed X sports a 5-inch Full-HD display that supports 1080p video recording. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and Mali T720 GPU, coupled with 3GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also offers the option of further expanding the memory up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
