Xiaomi’s massive 6.44-inch Mi Max to go on first flash sale tomorrow at 2PM

Xiaomi unveiled its massive 6.44-inch screen phablet, the Mi Max, in India last month. The device is now all set to go on its first flash sale from tomorrow at 2 PM on Mi.com. Registrations for the sale are already open. However, only the 3GB RAM variant of the Mi Max will be on sale tomorrow. Xiaomi has not yet revealed the sale timeline for the 4GB RAM variant of the Mi Max.

The device comes with a massive 1080p display of 6.44-inch. Similar to China, the device was launched in two variants in India – 3GB RAM/32GB storage/Snapdragon 650 hexa-core SoC (priced at Rs. 14,999) and 4GB RAM/128GB storage/Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC (priced at Rs. 19,999). The metal-clad smartphone will be available in Dark Grey, Gold, and Silver color options.

Regarding other specifications, Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone features a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash. It also has a 5MP front-camera with 85-degree wide-angle view, and a f/2.0 aperture. Concerning connectivity, the dual-SIM handset supports 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Mimo. There is an infrared emitter that will act as a universal remote control, besides an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. It runs Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 7, upgradable to MIUI 8. The device also features a fingerprint scanner and is backed by a massive 4850mAh battery.

Xiaomi is also giving three months of movies and one year of unlimited music on Hungama Play for the first 1 million Mi Max, Mi 5, and Redmi Note 3 users. There will also be a free Batman vs. Superman movie streaming for the first 10,000 Mi Max users.
