Vodafone Mobile Internet Bus will educate tier II mass of Gujarat on 3G internet usage

As a move to popularize mobile data among the tier II and beyond locations of Gujarat, Vodafone India launches ‘Vodafone Mobile Internet Bus’, a zone that provides live mobile data experience to users.

The bus will tour across all towns and villages in Gujarat has 3G facility. The roll out announcement was done by Jayesh Gadia, Business Head –Vodafone Gujarat.

The operator intends to educate people on benefits of mobile phones beyond the basic calling and messaging services. Vodafone Mobile Internet Bus will demonstrate features of smartphones such as video calls, live TV, high speed internet access, download of mail attachments, music tracks besides the voice call facility using Vodafone 3G.

The bus has been flagged off from North Gujarat last week. The project is a continuation of the telecom operator’s roll out of 3G among the rural artisans from Ranunj – Patan, farmers in Nardipur, milkmen in Vadasan, primary school teachers in Kherdi, panchayat from Sansrod.
