Indian telecommunications service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) launched the SuperHero portfolio of prepaid plans in December 2024, further increasing the duration of unlimited data access from 12 am to 12 pm. Previously, Vi offered only the Hero portfolio of prepaid plans, which provided unlimited data access between 12 am and 6 am. With the introduction of the SuperHero plans in December 2024, these free benefits were significantly extended.
As we start the new year 2025, customers looking for yearly plans from Vodafone Idea can choose from three options in the SuperHero segment: Rs 3,599, Rs 3,699, and Rs 3,799. These plans offer SuperHero benefits in Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana, while in other circles, the plans come with Hero benefits.
“To further sweeten the deal for customers looking for yearly packs or value for money offers, Vi has three Best in Value Annual Recharge options which not only deliver upto 25 percent savings compared to monthly plans, but also cater to the entertainment and uninterrupted mobile data requirements throughout the year,” Vi said in a statement on Friday, January 3, 2025.
Vi SuperHero Rs 3,599 Yearly Plan
Vi’s Rs 3,599 plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data with a validity of 365 days. Once the daily data quota is exhausted, the data speed drops to 64 Kbps. SuperHero benefits include half-day unlimited data, weekend data rollover, and the Data Delight feature. No additional benefits are bundled with this plan.
Vi’s Rs 3,699 plan provides unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data, valid for 365 days. After the daily quota is used, the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps. SuperHero benefits include half-day unlimited data, weekend data rollover, and the Data Delight feature. Additionally, this plan includes a one-year Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription and 50GB of extra data valid for 90 days. Vi has tagged this plan as “SuperSaver” on its digital platforms.
Vi SuperHero Rs 3,799 Yearly Plan
The Rs 3,799 plan includes unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily data with a validity of 365 days. Post-daily quota, the speed is capped at 64 Kbps. SuperHero benefits include half-day unlimited data, weekend data rollover, and the Data Delight feature. This plan also offers a one-year Amazon Prime subscription and 50GB of extra data valid for 90 days. Vi has tagged this plan as “Top Trending” on its digital platforms.
Vi SuperHero Annual Recharge Plan Benefits
Vi explained that its “Annual Recharge plans offer Half day Unlimited Data from 12 AM to 12 PM in addition to 2GB daily data quota for the remaining 12 hours of the day.” Not just that, Vi SuperHero packs also offer Weekend Data Rollover, which allows users to carry forward unused weekday data and use it during the weekend. This means unused data from Monday to Friday can be carried over to Saturday and Sunday.
“Add to it, these plans also offer emergency data top-up with the Data Delight feature, which provides an unconditional additional 1GB data, twice a month. With all this, Vi’s Annual Super Hero packs are designed to deliver unmatched value,” the operator explained on Friday about its SuperHero Yearly plans, which were launched in December 2024.
“Costing as low as Rs 10 per day, Vi’s Annual SuperHero packs deliver upto 25 percent savings which is almost over Rs 1100, when compared to monthly recharges.
