Vodafone Essar today announced the expansion of its next generation 3G Mobile service to 7 more towns - Nashik, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Amby Valley, Lonavala & Towns of Khandala, Khopoli in Maharashtra (Maharashtra-Goa telecom circle).
Currently Vodafone is Expanding 3G footprints in Maharashtra-Goa Telecom Circle and service will be launched in more cities/towns across both state in coming days.
To activate the 3G service on Vodafone Mobile subscribers need to send a SMS ACT 3G to 144. After sending the activation SMS the confirmation SMS will comes and 2G Data Plan will be de-activated in any after the confirmation by subscriber 3G Data Plan “Pay As You Go” (10p/10KB) will be activated.
