If someone were to ask what is next in line when it comes to communication technology, people would say 5G or VoIP. While the former has got a long way to go in the market, the VoIP technology is starting to make its way to the people. Not only over-the-top platforms but also other telecom operators are beginning to test VoIP services. Now Truecaller is a popular name when it comes to spam calls and caller ID apps, however, the company has a vision of expanding much further than that and has therefore launched the VoIP based voice call feature, Truecaller Voice globally.

Truecaller VoIP Feature Details
Like you would expect in case of any VoIP app, this in-app voice over internet protocol (VoIP) based feature will allow users to make free, high quality (HD), low latency and quick to connect audio calls through Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity. It is worth noting that Truecaller has been introducing features upon features to its caller ID and spam protection app to make it more robust. The app also allows the users to receive SMS through its app, which can act as a very convenient replacement for your system SMS app.
Similarly, this launch is the newest addition to the recent stream of updates, that is aimed to provide a full-fledged communication experience to Truecaller’s over 140 million daily active users globally. Truecaller has also noted that the rollout of this feature has already begun starting June 10, 2019.
