Spectra, the Internet Service Provider which was one of the fastest players to start offering Gigabit broadband plans in the country has come up with a new offer for users who’re looking to join Spectra’s network. ACT Fibernet was the first ISP to unveil a 1 Gbps plan in Hyderabad, but Spectra has launched at a super affordable price of just Rs 899 in Bengaluru and Delhi cities. However, Spectra revised the plans very recently and it’s no more offering 1 Gbps plan at Rs 899, instead, in hiked the price to Rs 1,549. Furthermore, Spectra has added FUP limit on broadband plans which was not present earlier. To overcome that and lure new customers to join its network, Spectra is now offering unlimited data without any FUP limit on its broadband plans. However, this offer is applicable only to users choosing Spectra as their service provider for six months or one year.

Spectra Now Offering Unlimited Data on Yearly or Six Months Rental Plans

We have received official information from the company that this offer is valid only for new customers who’re looking to join the network, while for existing customers, the benefits will be applicable as per the old plans.

Under this new rental offer, Spectra is providing unlimited data without any FUP for users choosing the company’s wired broadband service for six months or for a year. And for users choosing the plans on a monthly basis, they’ll come with a FUP. For example, in Bengaluru, Spectra is providing three broadband plans of Rs 899, Rs 1,249 and Rs 1,549 providing broadband speeds at 250 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps respectively. The Rs 849 plan comes with a monthly FUP of mere 100GB; the Rs 1,249 plan gives 500 Mbps speeds until 250GB per month, while the Rs 1,549 plan provides 1 Gbps speeds up to 500GB.

As part of the new offer, users selecting the plans for six months or one year will be provided with unlimited data on Rs 1,249 and Rs 1,549 broadband plans. In the case of Rs 899 plan, users will get 400GB data per month, only if they choose the plan for a longer duration.

This Offer is Valid Across All the Cities Where Spectra Has Operations

This new offer is valid across all the cities where Spectra is providing the plans as mentioned above of Rs 899, Rs 1,249 and Rs 1,549. Spectra recently made a change to these plans, otherwise, all the plans used to offer unlimited data even on a monthly basis. With this move, the company is planning to lock-in the user for a longer period and let them not move to any other Internet Service Provider.
