From his findings, Mr. Bedmutha explained to us some of the interesting points as- how the spammers spam differently at local level and national level, how they ‘time’ the message (did you notice you get more spam on weekends regarding the restaurant offers or movies).
This new product has been optimized to work on the Symbian Operating System (OS). “In India, 60 per cent of mobile handsets are from Nokia, so we chose to make our software for the symbian OS used by Nokia. The smsBlocker can be installed on some of the Sony and Samsung mobiles too.” Bedmutha added.
