South Korea’s mobile carrier SK Telecom announced on Monday a significant upgrade to its flagship calling platform, T Phone, rebranding it as “A-Dot Phone” to incorporate AI-enhanced service capabilities. This change replaces the company’s existing T-Phone service with A-Dot Phone, integrating AI features from SK Telecom’s A-Dot app. The service name, brand icon, and other aspects will be updated accordingly.

AI Personal Assistant Service
The A-Dot Phone now offers an AI-powered personal assistant that manages every stage of a phone call — before, during, and after — enhancing call efficiency and convenience for users.
AI Prediction
According to the company, one of the platform’s key features is AI prediction, which informs users about incoming calls and suggests conversation starters, helping conversations flow more smoothly.
The Conversation Status function provides a quick summary of recent interactions with each contact, while spam and phishing detection automatically blocks suspicious or unreported numbers.
AI Company Information
Additionally, the new AI company information feature analyses call data to offer relevant details, such as company tags, popularity rankings, and customer distribution, helping users make more informed decisions about who they connect with.
A-Dot Tab
The A-Dot Tab recommends appropriate AI features based on the context of the call. It can suggest who to contact next, summarise key points from a conversation, and even remind users of upcoming schedules mentioned during calls.
Call Recording
The platform also includes unlimited call recording and an AI-powered call summary function, allowing users to get summaries of recorded calls. Each user can access up to 30 AI-generated summaries per month. Users can also convert recorded calls into text, making it easier to review and manage call content.
