In a recent move, Reliance Mobile has extended its Freedom Data Offer, which they had launched during Independence day week, for an additional month. Earlier, Reliance was offering 69GB of data at Rs. 1,947 as Freedom Data Offer. The offer was valid till the 30th of August 2015 to all NetConnect users.
When we contacted with Reliance Mobile, an executive said the offer wasn’t available after the 30th of August, but now the plan has been re-announced with same benefits for NetConnect users. However, they didn’t provided enough details about it. The extended offer is valid till the 30th of Sept, 2015, and one can get a validity of 69 days and unused extra data could be carried forward by recharging any data pack before the validity period. So, we can see that the offer is cheap enough than other EVDO players offerings.

Reliance Mobile is trying hard to gain data users on its platforms, and the company is eyeing even non-data users to turn into data users by providing dirt-cheap data offers. A few days back, the operator was providing True Unlimited 3G, which they withdrew. For GSM users, Reliance is now providing Special 3G offer, which is priced at 86 that is giving 2GB of 3G data for 5 days. You can recharge the number if you’re getting the offer from them. - Dial *129# USSD from your Reliance GSM number.
- Follow option 3/Unlimited Data under category.

- If the offer matches with Rs. 86, the offer is available to your number, and then you can recharge that amount to get the benefits.

A few months back, total data traffic of Reliance was reported to be about 92.8 Billion MB, which is up by 68 percent year-on-year. Reliance has registered the highest data usage per subscriber in the industry at 895 MB, which is up by 34 percent year-on-year. This is a result of low tariffs for high-speed data that is being offered by RCom.
