Under the deal, Reliance Jio would utilize the telecom tower infrastructure of ATC India to launch its services across the country.ATC has a portfolio of 11,000 towers in India.

Earlier Reliance JIO also sign tower and Infra sharing deal with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications (Rcom) and tower company Viom Networks.

Relaince JIO’s agreements was with RCOM for sharing of extensive intercity and intra-city optic fiber infrastructure of nearly 1,20,000 fiber-pair kilometers of optic fiber and 500,000 fiber pair kilometers respectively and 45,000 towers.

While Infra deal agreement with Bharti Airtel was for a comprehensive telecom infrastructure sharing agreement to share infrastructure created by both parties to avoid duplication of infrastructure wherever possible. A key agreement for international data connectivity with Bharti to utilise dedicated fiber pair of Bharti’s i2i submarine cable that connects India and Singapore.

JIO’s agreement with Viom Networks was for their 42,000 telecom towers.

Few days back, Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman & Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said Reliance JIO has “accelerated efforts to roll out state-of-the-art 4G services across the country.

Reliance Jio is different from Reliance Communication As Reliance Jio is owned by Mukesh Ambani. RJio will be better only for 4G Likers or waiters But it will quit different from 2G & 3G, No GSM mobile will suit for LTE4G Sim You will need to purchase a handset.. Like IPHONE5sorc A COSTLY HANDSET I am thinking that 3G itself not in power…. Like 3G Speed is 21.1 MBPS, but network operators provides only 2 to 3mbps How 4G (100MBPS)! So, Please….. First bring the power of 3G & then go for 4G As Tower Radiations increases…… Our Survival will… Read more »

looks like there are making SOLID background for launch of 4G services, so that customers never make any compliant about quality of service.

A perfect home work!

Indicating towards grand launch of BWA in coming days. I liked the strategy RJio is following to have agreements in advance then launching services in some cities and then finding for other circles. Some might say that they are too slow at launch but in absence of an eco system whatever they have done before launch is just awesome. That is the way business should be done. Not like others who have licenses but no strategy to expand network. Better to have things in place in order to avoid no coverage at most of places problems like customers faced with… Read more »
