By September 29th, 2014 AT 2:07 PM

Reliance is on a spree introducing new affordable data plans. In the latest move they have introduced new Smart Recharge CDMA mobile data plans with High Speed Data (HSD) network access. Which in short means you get speed of 3.1Mbps on your EVDO device.

Please note that High Speed Data must be activated by sending SMS HSD to 55444 in order to get EVDO speeds.

Reliance has got the largest EVDO network in the country and is offering free national roaming on all CDMA mobile data packs. These plans are much cheaper than 3G offering by any operator and can be compared to 2G data offering by Reliance.

Even though these plans may not be an immediate threat to 3G players, but are good enough to attract new customer especially from other CDMA operators like MTS. With this latest offerings, Reliance is trying to become the only operator with cheapest data plans across 2G, 3G and EVDO.

Do you find these plan attractive enough to switch to CDMA?
