Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) will be revamping its monthly tariff plans for May and has already sent out the details of the new offers to all the retailers across the country. According to a retailer from Andhra Pradesh circle, RCom will be launching new first recharge tariff plan of Rs. 148.

With the FR 148 plan, the telco will be offering benefits for ten weeks, on-par with other telecom operators. Do make a note that this new scheme is only for the residents of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh circle. The new FR 148 plan provides 1GB data per day for 70 days along with Rs. 50 talk time.

However, this new plan doesn’t offer any voice calling benefits like other operators. However, you can make voice calls at just 25 paise/minute. All these benefits will be valid for 70 days including the Rs. 50 talk time.

Besides the FR 148 plan, RCom will also roll out another two plans of FRC 54 and FRC 61. Under the FRC 54 plan, the company is offering 1GB 4G data per day for 28 days along with Reliance to Reliance calls at 10 paise/minute and other local/STD calls at 25 paise/minute.

The FRC 61 plan also offers 1GB 4G data per day for 28 days, but the voice calling benefits are different from the FRC 54 plan. This plan costs 1 paise/6 sec for Reliance to Reliance calls and 1 paise/2 sec for local/STD calls.

These new plans from RCom are only for new users, which is underwhelming as other telecom operators are offering plans for existing prepaid users as well. Nevertheless, RCom is also charging way less than what others are charging although it offers limited to voice calling benefits.

India’s leading telecom operator has come up with a new plan of Rs. 399 offering 1GB data per day and unlimited calling to any network across India for 56 days. Idea Cellular also has a plan of Rs. 447 providing 1GB data per day and unlimited calls for 70 days.

As said earlier, these plans from RCom will be effective from tomorrow. What do you think of these new plans from RCom? Will these help the telco gain more subscribers? Let us know in the comments space below.
