In a rare event of sorts, Pune-India based Optinno Mobitech, the developers of spam sms blocking app ‘smsBlocker’ has been awarded two honors at the recently held NASSCOM Emergeout Conclave, in New Delhi and Forum Nokia.

The first came from NASSCOM (India’s apex association of IT companies). Optinno smsBlocker won the AppFAME- India’s Top Mobile App contest. It was specially conferred the Jury’s Choice Award in the NASSCOM Emergeout Conclave.

In another big contest, Forum Nokia honored smsBlocker with the First Prize in their Top App contest. Both the competitions had various selection rounds and comprised an eminent jury panel. They awarded the app based on the ‘usability, innovativeness, uniqueness, market potential, traction.
