One of the most prominent releases from OnePlus this year has not been a smartphone, but a TV. In the second half of this year, the Chinese manufacturer announced the launch of the OnePlus TV in India which became the first region across the world to witness the launch of the OnePlus TV. If you are even remotely aware of OnePlus’ ecosystem, then you probably know that a large part of OnePlus experience relies on the software that the company ships with its products. This is also true for OnePlus TV as well. Now, back in October, OnePlus had released one of the first updates for the OnePlus TV which brought fixes to HDR content and more. However, there was one thing which was missing from OnePlus TV all this while, and it was support for Netflix. Being a big streaming service, Netflix remains one of the most demanded platform across all devices. Hence, the OnePlus TV users were also in this line and were waiting for Netflix support on their TVs. But, the wait is finally over for OnePlus TV users as OnePlus has today announced a new update for the OnePlus TV which brings Netflix support on the TV.

OnePlus TV Now Comes with Netflix App
OnePlus has noted that for the existing users of the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 and OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro TVs, the Netflix application will be made available through a new update. Whereas for the new buyers of these TVs, the Netflix application will be available pre-installed. Not only this, but OnePlus has noted another thing which the users of OnePlus TV will appreciate.
Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India said about this new update, “We at OnePlus have always sought to provide the best possible technology on all our devices. Over the years, Netflix has played an important role in bringing an unmatched viewing experience on our smartphones. The association opens up a whole new world of possibilities, empowering storytellers on Netflix to expand into a whole new avenue for delivering diverse stories.”
