AI Assistants in Microsoft Teams
Omada explained that the development has been planned with the use of Microsoft Semantic Kernel, an open-source development framework that empowers businesses to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
The new solution introduces AI-powered assistants within Microsoft Teams, enabling employees to manage access requests, approvals, and compliance tasks more intuitively, according to the official release. Occasional users, often overwhelmed by complex security systems, will now receive guided assistance, while frequent users benefit from context-aware, data-driven decision-making, according to the official release.
Conversational Interactions
“Omada Identity Cloud’s seamless integration with Microsoft’s AI capabilities creates a smarter, faster, and more user-friendly experience,” the company highlighted.
By utilising Microsoft’s Semantic Kernel, the platform allows for conversational, natural-language interactions, reducing the learning curve for non-technical users. The AI assistant retrieves and summarises relevant information from Omada Identity Cloud in real time, speeding up decision-making and minimising errors.
