Idea Cellular Brings ‘Pujo-r Magic Recharge’ in Kolkata & WB

IDEA Cellular has launched a special Pujo-r Magic Recharge for its prepaid subscribers in the circle, giving them more value for money on their recharge.

With the new Magic Recharge priced at Rs. 60, Idea subscribers stand a chance to gain additional talk time, over and above the value of the recharge.

Idea subscribers who get a Magic recharge done during the festive season, can get additional talktime of upto Rs. 100, instantly. Minimum talktime in this recharge is Rs. 60, and the additional talktime is aimed at creating customer delight during the auspicious season of Durga Puja.

The new ‘Magic Recharge’ is available at all retail outlets, My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points across Kolkata & West Bengal. This recharge is available as an electronic recharge.

Voice quality is more dependent on spectral efficiency than just technology being used yet technology plays an important role too as without enhancements you can’t expect better things. But yes, call quality with UMTS is much better than GSM networks as it can deliver voice at higher data rates. But don’t compare it with the one on CDMA.

Also don’t get confused between WCDMA and CDMA as both are different platforms.
