As per my exp prepaid is cheaper than postpaid. Also now a days we have dualsim mobiles which have made even easier. e.g. compare idea post paid plan 249 with rcom recharge 148(500 minutes) & 156(3g 1GB). In postpaid we need to pay service tax also.

FINALLY operators are moving in the right direction: reducing the number of plans they have in their systems. Experience of a decade plus with Indias largest telco has taught me that the more the plans an operator has, the higher the instances of errors : both at the customer care executive level and also at the end system level. I welcome this move to a 5 plan offering. If someone is not happy let them go elsewhere. …. which is where?

These kinds of plans Docomo launched before. Now Airtel launched “Myplan” but i think these are more ‘EXPENSIVE’ than structured bundled plans. Airtel withdraw all good plans like now Idea also came with these plans. In my circle Maharashtra, Idea offer very expensive tarrifs to both prepaid & postpaid connections, customers are using Idea network because of their good network coverage, but other operators are also improving their network day by day. So Idea should focus on good cheap tarrifs/plans. Don’t copy these types of stupid plans.
