Idea (formerly Escotel) has one of the best network in my circle too as they are operating 2G on 900 MHz and in 3G (2100 MHz) they have frequency in range 2149-2154 MHz which is less than other three operators. Good Offer: its akin to the IDEA Prepaid Offer – which gives multiple benefits on a single recharge (which incidentally is a straight copy from the DU offering in DUBAI).

IDEA will be best in 2G… it is on 900 MHz in Kerala, while AIRTEL is on 1800MHz.
For 3G too it would be better (though all operators are on 2100Mhz) as its customer base will be the highest (being the oldest operator) and so the FOCUS of new operators (even AIRTEL) will be less.
