How convenient would it be to have a single bill for multiple connections? Well, Idea has something called “Easy Share plan” service in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh West. Under the service, you can bundle 3 connections (and keep on adding more) and share data, calling and SMS. You can add or remove connections too at a later stage.

Idea Cellular Easy Share

Which come with the moniker Easy Share; 5GB/10GB/20GB for Rs 999/1,499/2,499 respectively. You can add an additional connection for Rs 149. Here’s a look at what Idea is offering under the plan:

Bundled Free Shared Benefits
3G Data (GB)51020
Local Voice - CUG (within the Group)(For 3 or More Connections)FreeFreeFree
Local (Min)1,0001,5002,500
SMS (Local + National)200300500

The plan surely makes a lot of sense for families and businesses whose consumption is varied across users (someone uses data more, someone calling and so on). Corporates are expected to use it to the maximum as it allows for free calling within the group. Do let us know as to what you think about it.

Another benefit is that the plan can be used across multiple devices. So you’ll have one bill for all your connections and you are sorted.

In this day and age when we have multiple devices (smartphones and tablets) who are more than a companion to us become somewhat non-functional in the absence of a data connection. So with this plan you can share your data across devices and across family and friends too.

Calling and texts are shared too which can be dealt with in accordance with the usage. Shared plans always make for better ones if there is mixed usage by different users or through different devices. Idea is expanding at a pretty fast pace in the country and we expect the Easy share functionality to aid its efforts in the country. It may also launch the same for all the circles it is operational in.
