BSNL Revises Prepaid and Postpaid 2G GPRS Packs [Rs.98 and Rs.89]

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has revised it GPRS/2G Mobile Internet offerings and reduced 2G Data usage under its Prepaid and Postpaid GPRS Pack of Rs.98 and Rs.89.




From 1st October, 2012, BSNL Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers using 2G GPRS Packs of Rs.98 and Rs.89 will get 1250 MB free data usage instead of 2GB or 3GB. BSNL will also launching new 2 GB GPRS Plan/Pack for Rs.111  & Rs.125 for Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers respectively. The Free Data usage can be used as 'Home and Roam' across India.

Note: Circles can suitably adjust the MRP in the price band up to Rs.5 (+/-) of above price considering the local market condition and technical feasibility.

The mobile boom of the past decade is primarily attributed to the sharp and continuous fall in call rates and operating margins so few months back, all leading private operators revised their call rates and GPRS Packs by offering 1GB for Rs.98.

Finally it seems that BSNL also joined the league and reduced the FREE 2G Data usage in its postpaid and prepaid packs of Rs.98 and Rs.89. The revised and new 2G GPRS/EDGE Packs (Postpaid/Prepaid) will be available in all telecom circles working effect from 1st October 2012.
