BSNL introduces unlimited broadband plans for Ghaziabad, UP (West)

By April 8th, 2016 AT 1:19 PM

Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has introduced five new unlimited broadband plans exclusive for Ghaziabad SSA of UP (West) circle. The plans also include two affordable ‘Super Speed’ VDSL unlimited plans. The new broadband plans are introduced as promotional offer for a period of 90 days with effect from April 7, 2016. The new VDSL broadband plans—‘BBG Super Speed ULD 1499’ and ‘BBG Super Speed ULD 2499’, offer speed up to 16 Mbps and 24 Mbps respectively with FUP limit of 50GB.

BSNL also has introduced BBG Speed ULD 991, offering speed of up to 8 Mbps with FUP limit of 50GB. Similarly, BBG ULD 799 and BBG ULD 599 plans offer speeds of 4Mbps and 2Mbps with FUP limit 20GB and 10GB, respectively.
The new broadband plans offer higher speed and increased FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit compared to existing plans from BSNL.

The new broadband plan is part of BSNL’s strategy of introducing more SSA and circle specific broadband plans to counter competition from local broadband players. As with other circle/SSA specific plans, the above plans are only offered in those locations/colonies of Ghaziabad SSAs, where there is a matching competition from private operators.

However, post FUP speed is limited to 512 Kbps for normal plans and 1 Mbps for VDSL plans. The plans also offer unlimited free calls between 9 PM to 7 AM to any network in India. The broadband plans are also available on FTTH with same Fixed Monthly Charges. Annual payment benefit of making advance payment for one, two and three years is available on all plans.

LOL, wake up bro it’s noon already, how much you had for drinks last night?

@Sunny u are feeling jealousy as BSNL is progessing and gaining customers which is badly hitting u and ur pvt telecom companies because for the past few years u are taking commission from pvt telecom operators and thats why u are criticising BSNL all the time.Rather than feeling proud for BSNL u are praying to god to destroy BSNL forever.Lol.Do u know if BSNL shuts down all emergency helpline numbers will get stopped.People will suffer as BSNL is Lifeline of our country.

Arre bhai why do you get angry, I am just being realistic. We’ve been hearing this BSNL providing pan India high speed internet services thing from ages, but it’s not happening. They only provide some mediocre plans in certain SSAs for publicity. The scale and poor infrastructure of BSNL goes against people’s hopes of getting better services. They just cannot handle providing high speed true unlimited plans, that’s the bitter truth. I don’t know what’s your definition of good services and plans. Maybe 8 GB FUP is great for you but for majority of people that’s one or two days’… Read more »
