Airtel Rs 47 Pocket-Friendly Prepaid Pack Now Offers Benefits for 28 Days

Bharti Airtel has introduced yet another pocket-friendly prepaid recharge plan of Rs 47 targeting Jio's Rs 52 and Vodafone's Rs 47 prepaid plans. Firstly, Vodafone launched the plan of Rs 47, which is followed by Airtel. The surprising aspect of this plan from Airtel is the validity of 28 days. The benefits, however, are sub-par, which is understandable as Airtel is aiming this plan at basic users. Benefits wise, it doesn't match Jio's Rs 52 plan for prepaid users, but validity wise, it outsmarts the same. With this prepaid plan of Rs 47, Airtel's giving all the three voice calling, SMS and data benefits for a month. The leading telecom operator is providing the plan as an open market one.

Airtel Rs 47 Prepaid Plan Benefits

Aforementioned, both Airtel and Vodafone are offering similar benefits with this prepaid plan. Airtel is offering a total of 7500 local, STD and national roaming seconds with this plan, which converts to a total of 125 minutes. Furthermore, the plan also offers 50 SMS and 500MB of 2G/3G/4G data for the entire validity period of 28 days.

Vodafone India, on the other hand, is also providing similar benefits of 7500 seconds voice calling, 50 SMS and 500MB at Rs 47 and it’s an open market plan too. While both Airtel and Vodafone introduced this Rs 47 prepaid plan, Idea Cellular has come up with a Rs 75 prepaid plan with better benefits.

Idea Cellular Introduces Rs 75 Prepaid Plan

Idea’s all-new Rs 75 prepaid plan gives a user 300 minutes of voice calls even on national roaming, 100 SMS and 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data and that too for a period of 28 days. But Vodafone and Airtel are yet to introduce the Rs 75 plan.

Airtel Also Offers Rs 99 Prepaid Plan Taking on Jio's Rs 98 Plan

For the unaware, Airtel already has a Rs 99 prepaid plan, under which the telco is giving 2GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. However, the Rs 99 plan is valid only for select users. On the flip side, Jio has an open market Rs 98 prepaid plan which offers a user unlimited voice calls, again without any FUP limit, 2GB of 4G data and 300 SMS for the validity period of 28 days.
