STC Group announced today that its subsidiary, TAWAL, has officially commenced operations in Europe. This development follows TAWAL's acquisition of United Group's telecom tower assets in Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovenia on April 25th, 2023, as reported by TelecomTalk. This move, which occurred after obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals, is part of STC Group's strategy to expand and grow.

Telecom Tower Assets
STC Group announced that TAWAL now owns and operates over 4,800 sites across Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovenia, providing operational services to its new clients in these countries. This acquisition marks TAWAL's second global expansion move, the first being the launch of TAWAL in Pakistan in 2022. With this acquisition, TAWAL's total portfolio of telecom towers exceeds 21,000 across five countries.
