Orange Romania Expands 5G, 5G Plus Network to Braila

Orange Romania Expands 5G, 5G Plus Network to Braila
Orange Romania is continuing its expansion of the 5G and 5G+ Networks in new cities this summer. As a part of this 5G expansion initiative, Orange Romania has announced the launch of the fastest 5G/5G+ Network in the city of Braila. Additionally, Orange has introduced special discounts and incentives to encourage the adoption of 5G and its accompanying services.

Orange 5G Network Expansion

The Orange 5G/5G+ network is now available in 37 cities throughout Romania, with several of these cities having complete 100 percent 5G coverage. As indicated in the statement, the Orange 5G+ network offers ultra-fast speeds reaching up to 1.5 Gbps, making it one of the fastest in Romania.

Orange Romania said, "The Orange 5G+ network is able to provide users with an experience similar to that provided by fibre optic internet."

With the launch of 5G Network in Braila, Orange 5G, 5G+ Network becomes available in 37 cities through Romania, including Arad, Bacau, Baia Mare, Brasov, Bucharest, Craiova, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Miercurea Ciuc, Sibiu, Suceava, Oradea, Timisoara and Targu Mures, but also in localities in Ilfov county, mountain and summer resorts.

In addition, Orange has reported that the list of cities with complete 5G coverage has been growing steadily. These cities include Arad, Baia Mare, Bucharest, Miercurea-Ciuc, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, and Targu Mures.

Orange Buy-Back Program

Orange Romania has also announced a Buy Back Program wherein customers in Braila can receive a discount of 100 euros on the purchase of a new 5G phone through the Buy-Back program. To be eligible, customers need to trade in their old phone valued at a minimum of 10 euros.

Subscription Discounts

Orange Subscribers to FUN02, FUN11, FUN12, and FUN13 plans can avail a 20 percent discount throughout the contract period during this period.

5G Porting Offer

Additionally, Orange Romania announced that until August 31, customers across the country can enjoy a 50 percent discount for 12 months on Fun 9 and Fun 11 subscriptions when porting to the 5G network.

According to Orange Romania, the high speeds of the Orange 5G+ network will offer new opportunities for innovation and research. Businesses can benefit from 5G Wi-Fi solutions, including fixed-point 5G Wi-Fi for public administrations and companies. The Office Net 5G subscription provides fixed internet, and a Wi-Fi 6 router is included for connecting multiple devices wirelessly.
