Fiberklaar Expands Fiber Optic Internet in Aalst

Belgian network operator Fiberklaar has revealed plans to expand and roll out its fibre network to the boroughs of Aalst. According to Fiberklaar, this expansion is in line with Fiberklaar’s objective of connecting 1.5 million homes and businesses in Flanders to fibre. The company is now preparing to extend its network to the subdivisions of Aalst.

Fiberklaar Expansion

Fiberklaar said it is working on providing free fibre optic connections to eligible homes around Aalst, including Nieuwerkerken, Moorsel, Meldert, and Erembodegem. They are collaborating with the contractor Solutions30 for this expansion.

In its statement, Fiberklaar announced that it is embarking on an endeavor to provide around 14,300 eligible addresses in the vicinity of Aalst with a free fiber connection.

Further, the company said people can use the address check to determine if fibre optic is available on their street. If it is, a technician will visit to assess how the home can be connected to the fibre optic network. Residents interested in a fibre optic connection can apply for it for free during the contractor’s visit or online through Fiberklaar’s website.

Fibre to the Home

Fiberklaar said it emphasizes “Fiber to the Home” (FTTH), where every part of the network is made up of fibre optic cables, ensuring a robust and stable internet connection without disruptions.
