BSNL Announces Partial Rollback of Decrease In Validity Days

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced a partial roll-back or abeyance its decision of decreasing the validity of Top ups which was announced with the revision of Prepaid tariff on 2nd August, 2011.

Now BSNL subscribers in all telecom circles across India can enjoy Increased Validly Days with Top-Ups till the further announcements regarding prepaid tariff if any.




After the "BSNL Hikes its Prepaid Tariff" news on TelecomTalk (published on 2nd August, 2011) some members of BSNL Employees Association meets Mr. R.K. Agarwal Director (Mobile Service), BSNL, regarding the recent orders issued by BSNL's Corporate Office in connection with Reduction of Validity period/Days of top up (prepaid mobile vouchers) to be implemented from 5 August, 2011, onwards.

The Members of BSNL Employees Association of expressed their apprehension that drastic reduction in validity has no direct bearing with increase/decrease of revenue of BSNL.

Mr R.K. Agrawal, promptly spoke with the concerned and gave on spot instructions to have a holistic view on the matter before its implementation.So “Revision of validity with top-ups for General customers” is now under abeyance, till further order.
