Airtel Xstream Box Available at Up to Rs 500 Discount for New Smart TV Users of Xiaomi and Samsung

Digital TV arm of Bharti Airtel, Airtel Digital TV, has been partnering with Smart TV brands to provide discounts on channel packs. In its latest move, the DTH operator has partnered with top Smart TV brands- Xiaomi and Samsung, to provide discounts on HD Set-Top Box and Airtel Xstream Box. Users purchasing any Smart TV from Xiaomi or Samsung will be able to avail discounts on both Airtel Digital TV and Airtel Xstream Box. For the unaware, Airtel Xstream Box is a hybrid Set-Top Box from the company that combines Satellite TV and OTT content. The price of the Xstream Box is set as Rs 3,999, but the new Smart TV users of Xiaomi or Samsung can avail the box for as low as Rs 3,499. Furthermore, these Smart TV users will also get access to three months of free channel pack, which we have detailed below.




Airtel Digital TV-Samsung Smart TV Offer Detailed

Airtel Digital TV is running the discount offer on both HD STB and the newly launched Airtel Xstream Box. New Samsung Smart TV buyers will be able to get an Airtel Digital TV HD Set-Top Box at Rs 1,499, and on top, customers will get three months of channel pack for free. Samsung Smart TV users opting for the HD STB will get Dabang Sports (SD)+Kids HD+Sports HD Pack for a period of three months. The combined cost of these channel packs is Rs 365 per month, but users will get it for free as part of the new offer. "Customer will get 90 Days of above content + Box + Accessories free of cost in Rs 1,499," says Airtel Digital TV. After 90 days, customers have to perform a recharge of Rs 365 every month to enjoy the same channels, but customers have an option to change his/her package anytime after coming onboard.

As for the Airtel Xstream Box, new Samsung Smart TV users will be able to buy it for Rs 3,499, down from the original price of Rs 3,999. The channel packs which are mentioned above will also be applicable for new Airtel Xstream Box users as well. For activation and to avail the offer, Samsung TV buyer will have to call Airtel DTH number 8130781306. The offer is valid from October 1, 2019, to October 31, 2019.

Airtel Digital TV-Xiaomi Smart TV Offer Detailed

Xiaomi's Mi TV range of Smart TVs became instantly popular thanks to the company's affordable pricing and PatchWall user interface. Airtel Digital TV has partnered with Xiaomi to offer Airtel HD Set-Top Box and Airtel Xstream Box at discounted rates. New Mi Smart TV users will be able to avail the HD STB from Airtel Digital TV for Rs 1,800 along with three months of free channel packs- Dabang Sports (SD)+Kids HD+Sports HD Pack. Unlike Samsung Smart TV offer, Xiaomi's new Smart TV users will get free channel pack subscription for four months (120 days).

And for Airtel Xstream Box, customers can pick it for Rs 3,800, which is just Rs 200 discount, however, users will get four months of free Satellite TV subscription from the DTH operator.

Airtel Digital TV Luring New Users During Festive Season

These offers from Airtel Digital TV come at a time when there are a plethora of offers running on Smart TVs from almost all the brands. During the first phase of Mi Diwali sale and other sales on Flipkart & Amazon, Xiaomi sold a whopping 2.5 million Smart TVs and there will be more festive sales in the coming days. Even Samsung discounted its Smart TVs by a huge margin, which isn't something we get to see very often. These offers from Airtel Digital TV will surely attract a lot of Xiaomi and Samsung Smart TV buyers as they will get free Satellite TV subscription.
