Panasonic has been active in the TV space for quite some time now. We have seen the OEM debut many TVs in the past, but today, Panasonic has made a new leap by announcing the launch of its Android Smart TV series. The new Smart TVs by Panasonic come with Google’s Android Platform, and as you would expect, this new series of TVs comes with smart features and Google-certified built-in assistance tools that offer the “smart TV viewing experience.” Panasonic has also announced that this new series of TVs will reach the market before the festivals. Given that the festival season is the high time for TV sellers, including smart TVs, the new Smart TV range by Panasonic comes at a very crucial time. The range in which the new Panasonic TVs debut is in the premium segment and in the recent times, we have seen the launch of many TVs in this price range including but not limited to the OnePlus TV.
The new Smart TV series by Panasonic brings six models of 4K TVs and Smart TV range. These models include the GX655 4K Android TV and GS655 Android Smart TV, which are specially designed to deliver best in class picture quality and sound. These TVs also come with16W & 20W speakers along with the integrated home theatre systems, the Android TVs by Panasonic, as the company hypes, will extend the ultimate cinematic experience to viewers in the comfort of their homes. The TVs will come with built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast as well, that will enable the viewers to cast content from any device directly to the TV screen without any lags.
Panasonic has also noted that its TVs will sport the IPS Superbright LED Display and will be equipped with Vivid Digital Pro technique which will ensure accurate colour reproduction, brightness, and sharpness for unified viewer experience. This will be in addition to the native support for video content platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, ZEE5, Hotstar, YouTube, Voot, SonyLive and Jiocinema the Android TVs ensure that one never runs out of entertainment choices on the Panasonic Smart TV.
Panasonic TVs to Come with HDR 10 and 4K Dimming
Adding more to the list of the features which the Panasonic Smart TVs will come with the company noted that the 4K Android TV series is equipped with HDR 10 and 4K Dimming feature. This will mean deeper black levels by dividing the TV’s backlight into zones that can be illuminated or darkened independently. Similarly, the colour contrast and black levels are enhanced in the Android Smart TV series as it boasts of the adaptive backlight-dimming feature.

Panasonic Smart TVs Pricing and Offers
Being launched in the festival season, the Panasonic TVs will come with attractive offers. The offer will include a 1+ 2year warranty on panels and zero finance schemes on select models under the Android series which will be valid till October 31, 2019. Further, the consumers will get exclusive offers on ZEE5 subscription on purchase of Panasonic Android TV.
Panasonic also noted that the 4K Android TV, GX655 is available in screen size of 43, 49, 55, and 65 inches and is priced from Rs 50,400 onwards while Android Smart TV, GS655 comes in the screen size of 32 and 43 inches priced from Rs 27,900 onwards. The GX655 4K Android TV & GS655 Android Smart TV are available across all authorised Panasonic outlets and stores in India.
