The availability of the 4G network is not the only competitive edge for the telecom operators, but the quality of the service and the speeds which they offer also matter a lot. When it comes to measuring the speeds of the 4G network, there are a few companies which people trust and Ookla is one of them. The company which is the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications has now published speed test results which were conducted across the entire length and breadth of Delhi-NCR revealing that Vodafone SuperNet is the fastest 4G network in the city.

Vodafone's Reasons for Becoming the Fastest Network in Delhi-NCR

Ookla's finding across multiple parameters have revealed that Vodafone has the fastest 4G network in the country and its speeds are higher as compared to all the other operators in the Delhi-NCR region. On this Vodafone in its release said that the high speeds of the Vodafone 4G network enable the users to enjoy making group video calls, binge on series or movies and sharing photos or videos and everything they love doing at the fastest speed.

Speaking on this new development, Mr Vishant Vora, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Idea Ltd. said, "With 10 telecom circles and many parts of Delhi NCR fully integrated, Vodafone Idea customers are experiencing the benefits of a unified and future-ready digital network. To be recognised by Ookla as the fastest 4G network in the national capital is also a recognition of our consistent efforts to provide better network experience for our customers."

It is worth noting that only a few weeks back we had reported of Vodafone Idea's network modernisation exercise in the Delhi-NCR region. Vodafone Idea has taken up this exercise to make the network future-ready and as its part, it has already East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad region. Also, as part of this network-revamp Vodafone is making one of the largest deployments of the latest network technologies. Vodafone Idea has set up 7,800 Massive MIMO, Small Cells and TDD sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR.
