If there is another electronic equipment with which Xiaomi has seen immense success, it is the TVs of the Chinese manufacturer. The Chinese brand introduced affordable TVs in India shortly after seeing a great response on its smartphones, and following on the footsteps of its smartphone success, Xiaomi TVs also saw a great response from Indian buyers. What makes Xiaomi TVs an attraction in the Indian market is the pricing, the software and the quality which Xiaomi is able to deliver. One of the highly successful models from Xiaomi has been the Mi TV 4A which has now been succeeded by the Mi TV 4A Pro. But even with that, Xiaomi is keen on the task of updating its older models, and now Xiaomi has opened gateways to Mi TV Android 9 Pie programme with this new step.

Early Access Programme for Android 9 Pie Based Android TV Update
Some of the models of Mi TV have been put up for update, and these include the 32-inch and 43-inch models of the Mi TV 4A. These models by Xiaomi will be receiving firmware update which will be bringing some important updates to the software on these TVs. Finally, the backend on these TVs will be updated to Android 9 Pie based Android TV on these TVs courtesy of the new updates on these models. For this, the Chinese OEM has just begun rolling out an early access programme for the Android 9 Pie update for the Mi TV 4A series with 50 active Mi fans to be chosen, who will receive the early access to this programme.
